About the founder

Club Officials President:
Mr Arifur Rahman Zinnah is the present Club President. He was born in 1952 into a renowned Muslim family in Comilla. Mr Zinnah was a keen sportsman in his youth and represented his Zilla school in football and hockey. Under his leadership, both the teams became District champions and participitated in Divisional competitions.
He represented Victoria College football team as well as the Sher-e-Bangla side of BUET.
He fought valiantly in the Liberation War in sector 2. He held different positions in Mohammedan Sporting Club, Dhaka between 1989-93 including the position of team manager. He is also the President of Payer Khola High School.He is a Life member of the Engineer's Institute and the Engineer's Club and is also associated with various socio-cultural organisations.

Founder:

The founder of Young Cricketers is Mr. Saleem Ahmed, who set up the club with his friends in 1977. The club has progressed a long way since it began as a team of amateurs, who played during their spare time. Email him at saleem_dhk@hotmail.com to learn more about the club.
