1981
Young Cricketers first organised tournament in 1981, which was named after the renowned journalist late Zahoor Hossain Chowdhury. The participating teams were:

Tournament Winners : Young Cricketers 'B' by beating Rayer Bazar AC in the final 1982
This years tournament was participated by eight teams:

Tournament Winners : Kalabagan KC by defeating the hosts Young Cricketers in the final 1983
The tournament was scheduled to start from the 15th of February but prevailling political situation delayed its start. Eleven teams took part:

After a gap of three years the tournament in 1986 was participated by seven teams:

Tournament Winners : Challengers who beat Usha KC in the final 1988: Young Cricketers Challenge Cup '88
The challenge cup was introduced in 1988 where for the first time the club prepared a quality cricket pitch at the Club ground in Mirpur. The tourney was inagurated by National Coach Syed Altaf Hossain. The chief guest Sports Minister Mostafa haider witnessed the final and distributed prizes. This was the most successful tournament held by the club and included eleven teams:
